During this time of social distancing and self-isolation, many in our community need help to get the basic necessities.  While our Stong’s Express team continues to deal with the overwhelming response to our online shopping service, we are still behind and unable to complete orders with quick turn around times.

We are aware of many community groups that are posting on social media offering to provide volunteer services to those that are unable to get out and shop.  We have also heard from our wonderful customers that they would like to help and support those in need from our communities.

We are working to build a database of volunteers that would be willing to shop and deliver some of the necessities for those in self-isolation, or unable to get out and shop on their own.  The intent of the program is to connect the members of our community that are willing to help out, with those in need.

While we continue to work around the clock to keep up with the unprecedented demand, the assistance of volunteers in the short term will help assist those in need in a more timely fashion.

While we will collect contact details and share this information with customers, details of the product required, shopping lists and payment terms are to be arranged individually between the customer and the volunteer.
