Ground Turkey Meatballs

1 – ½ pounds Free Range Specialty ground turkey meat

2-4 Tbsp olive oil

1 small red onion, finely minced’

3 cloves Garlic, finely minced

½ cup Tzatziki

1 Tbsp Dijon mustard

½ cup crumbled feta cheese

1 egg

½ cup panko bread crumbs

Salt & pepper to taste

1 Tbsp minced fresh basil

1 Tbsp minced fresh mint

1 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp minced fresh rosemary

1 tsp dried oregano

½ tsp red pepper flakes


Gently combine all ingredients except for Ground turkey and olive oil, in a large bowl. Add turkey and mix with your hands until thoroughly combined. Form into 1- 1/4 to 1 – 1/2 inch balls and lay on a flat baking tray.

Heat olive oil in a large sauté pan over medium high heat. In batches so as not to overcrowd the pan, brown meatballs on all sides for about 2-3 minutes, then lower heat to medium low and continue cooking until meatballs are cooked through – about 5-7 minutes more. Transfer to a warmed platter.
